Afghan Ambassador to Bangladesh Abdul Rahim Oraz has made a farewell call on President Abdul Hamid at Bangabhaban in the capital this afternoon.
During the meeting, the envoy expressed gratitude to the President for extending cooperation to him in discharging his duties in Bangladesh, President's Press Secretary Md Joynal Abedin said, reports BSS.
President Hamid said Bangladesh gives importance to enhancing its relations with brotherly countries like Afghanistan.
He also said Afghanistan is a Muslim brotherly country for Bangladesh and the existing relations between the two countries are excellent now.
The President thanked the Afghan envoy for discharging his duties here successfully.
