2 JCD students suspended from DU

The authority of Dhaka University (DU) temporarily suspended two students of Jatiotabadi Chattra Dal (JCD), student wing of BNP, from academic activities for their alleged Involvement that threatens the security of the university campus.
The students have been identified as Mohammad Sahadat Nasir Suvo, a masters student of the Biostatistics Department, and Hasanur Rahman Hasan, also a masters student of the Arabic Department.
The authority will make recommendation to suspend them permanently in the next meeting of the disciplinary committee.
The university authority also filed a case against them to the Shahbag Police Station.
The two were arrested while a group of JCD activists brought out a procession in support of the ongoing 72-hour nationwide hartal, enforced by the BNP-led 20-party alliance, on DU campus around 8:40 am on Monday.
