The Appellate Division of the Supreme Court upheld the High Court order which granted bail for BNP leader Aslam Chowdhury.
A four-member bench of the Appellate Division headed by Chief Justice Surendra Kumar Sinha passed the order.
Attorney General Mahbubey Alam stood for state.
According to an allegation, Aslam Chowdhury met with an official of Israel intelligence agency ‘Mossad’ and conspired to oust government.
