Tigers continue to keep pressure on Ireland, Mustafizur claims four

Tiger’s pace sensation Mustafizur Rahman has brought back to his rhythm today against Ireland to keep the pressure on in their third match of the Tri-Nation Series at Malahide, Dublin.

Ireland scored 139/7 in 35 overs with the help of EC Joyce’s 46 and NJ O'Brien’s 30.

The ‘Fizz’ claimed four wickets conceding 22 runs in eight overs with two maidens.

Mustafiz made the first breakthrough for Bangladesh dismissing Ireland batsman Paul Stirling in the second over of the innings, keeping the Irish on zero.

Mosaddek departed Ireland's 2nd stand of 37 in 7 overs between skipper William Porterfield and Ed Joyce.

Porterfield scored 22 off 25 balls featuring three boundaries and one six before giving return catch to Mosaddek, leaving the team on 37/2 in 8.3 overs.

In the 2nd ball of his 2nd over, Shakib bowled out Andy Balbirnie (12 off 24b; 1x6), hunting down the third Irish batsman on 61/3 in 14.2 overs.

Earlier, Bangladesh won the toss and elected to bowl first.
