The National Curriculum and Textbook Board (NCTB) transferred its four staff to different colleges outside the capital following the embarrassing mistakes in school textbooks.
In this connection, the education ministry issued a gazette notification on Wednesday.
They are: Professor Md Abdul Mannan, Associate Professors Gaurango Lal Sarker, Mosleh Uddin Sarker and Md Hannan Mia.
NCTB Primary Curriculum wing member Md Abdul Mannan has been transferred to Govt KC College in Jhenaidah and NCTB Editor Gouranga Lal Sarkar to Hatia Govt College in Noakhali.
NCTB experts Md Mosle Uddin Sarkar and Md Hannan Mian have been transferred to government colleges in Patuakhali and Thakurgaon's Pirganj Upazila respectively.
On February 23, comprising three-member a probe committee was formed headed by its additional secretary Ruhi Rahman. They submitted a probe report. Later, the authority took the decision following the report.
Earlier, two other NCTB officials have been transferred following a widespread criticism over textbook mistakes.
