Six 'militants' held in Cox's Bazar

Police in a drive arrested six suspected militants along with two Rohingyas from a guesthouse in the district town on Sunday, UNB reports.


Acting on a tip-off, police raided the guesthouse around 7pm and arrested Nurul Hossain, 33, Mohammad Elius, 34, Nurul Islam, 43, hailing from Pahartoli, and two Rohingyas --Yasin, 36, and Nurul Amin-- while holding a meeting, said Md Afruzul Haque Tutul, additional superintendent of Cox's Bazar Police.
