DHAKA: A seminar on "What I have seen and learned by staying in a village for one month" was held for the last year MBBS students of Gonoshasthaya Samaj Vittik Medical College like every year.
Gonoshasthaya Samaj Vittik Medical College was arranged this seminar on January 03, 2015 at morning. 136 doctors returned to the campus after staying and gathering various experiences in remote areas of the country for one month.
Fazle Hossain Badsha MP, Hazera Sultana MP, Nurul Islam Mazumder MP, Advocate Mustafa lutfullah MP, Yasin Ali MP and Advocate Tipu Sultan MP spokes on the occasion chaired by the Vice-Chancellor of Gono Bishwabidyalay, Professor Mesbahuddin Ahmed. Principal of Gonoshasthaya Samaj Vittik Medical College, Dr. Laila Parveen Banu also spoke on the occasion.

Jafarullah Chowdhury; prominent writer, Syed Abul Maksud; former Vice-Chancellor of Gono Bishwabidyalay and member of the Board of Trustees, Professor Abul Qasim Chowdhury; Registrar of Gono Bishwabidyalay, Md. Delwar Hossain and senior officials of the University and the Public Health Center attended the ceremony among others.
136 MBBS students residing in the rural area for one month describes the classification of rural areas, health care for poor and middle class people, family planning, smoking, hygiene, community treatment, childbirth methods etc.
