KFC opens new outlet at Jashimuddin Road, Uttara

KFC, the globally renowned and internationally beloved restaurant chain, has launched its new outlet at Jashimuddin road in Uttara in the capital.


Akku Chowdhury, Managing Director and CEO of Transcom Foods, joined the launching ceremony along with renowned celebrities Sharmin Lucky and Topu on Friday, February 10.


The Economic and Commercial Officer of American Embassy Miguel Eduardo and Political & Economic Counselor David Tulloch was also present at this occasion.


In his small speech, Miguel Eduardo said, “KFC is an example of a small roadside chicken restaurant growing into a worldwide enterprise. It is also an example of the ties between Bangladesh and USA, creating jobs in both the countries”.


The launching ceremony also included a brief speech by Akku Chowdhury and the celebrities followed by a formal photo session.


KFC is an international restaurant chain in Bangladesh having commenced operations with its flagship outlet in Gulshan-1 from 2006.

With the inclusion of Jashimuddin branch, KFC now operates 20 outlets across Bangladesh.
