Bangladesh maul Kyrgyzstan 10-0 in AFC U-19 Women’s Football

Hosts Bangladesh went on a goal spree in their Group C match of the six-nation AFC U-16 Women’s Championship-2017 Qualifiers on Wednesday crushing all-losers Kyrgyzstan by a biggest 10-0 goals margin at Bangabandhu National Stadium.

With the day’s feat, Bangladesh maintained their all-win record to share the top slot in Group C with Chinese Taipei securing full nine points from straight three matches.

But in goal difference, Chinese Taipei are enjoying the upper hand scoring 21 goals against one while Bangladesh scored 18 goals without conceding any goal.

In the day’s one-sided match, captain Krishna Rani Sarkar made a hat-trick scoring three goals while forward Anuching Mogini and Shamsunahar netted two each and Marzia, Nargis and Maria Manda scored one each for the winners.

The two all-win teams -- Bangladesh and Chinese Taipei -- will meet each other in a vital group match on Friday at 6 pm at the same venue.

Forward Anuching Mogini opened the floodgate for Bangladesh in the 21st minute by a cool attempt from a goal mouth melee (1-0).

Marzia doubled the lead in the 30th minute by a placing shot when Kyrgyzstan defenders failed to clear a Krishna Rani’s curved cross from the right flank (2-0).

Krishna widened the margin 3-0 in the 44th minute by a right footer rebounder when a shot of Marzia came her way from opponent defenders (3-0).

Anuching Mogini scored her 2nd and the 4th goal for Bangladesh in the stoppage time of the first half by heading the ball home utilising a curved corner of Marzia from the right flank (4-0).

The skipper further sounded the margin scoring the 5th goal for Bangladesh in the 48th minute with her lone effort after dodging past two opponent defenders.

Her 20 yards left footed curving shot kissed the net in the far corner of the net over the Kyrgyz goalie Adelina Iskakova (5-0).

Defender Shamsunnahar netted the 6th goal for Bangladesh from a penalty in the 68th minute (6-0).

Another defender Nargis Khatun scored the 7th goal in the 75th minute by a powerful free kick from about 35 yards (7-0).
