Underprivileged children given shoes by Apex

Apex Footwear Limited on Tuesday donated shoes to the children of a school for the underprivileged children with disabilities run by SEID (Society for Education and Inclusion of the Disabled) in Mohammadpur in the city.

 

Senior officials visited the school this morning and presented shoes to the children.

 

SEID is a voluntary development organization working for the social inclusion and promoting rights of underprivileged children with disabilities since 2003. Presently SEID is providing services to more than 450 underprivileged children with disabilities including  pre-primary and special education, education materials service, therapeutic and referral services, vocational training, food and transport facilities through its community based schools located at different areas of Dhaka and its suburban areas.

 

Syed Gias Hussain, Additional Managing Director and Rajan Pillai, Chief Operating Officer of Apex Footwear Ltd. were present at the occasion. Among others, Ranjan Karmaker, Chairman of SEID along with other officials from Apex and teachers of SEID were present at the programme.
