At least six activists of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) were injured in a factional clash at Dhaka College on Thursday over an iftar party.
Campus sources said the supporters of Sohel Rana, central school affairs joint secretary of BCL, and Shihab Bhuiyan, an aspirant of BCL leadership at Dhaka College, had a spat during the iftar party arranged by the college BCL unit, UNB reports.
The both groups locked into an altercation after the iftar party that left six people injured from the both sides.
At least 10 rooms, three motorbikes and a private car were also vandalised during the melee.
Four of the injured were taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
