Hotel Sarina Dhaka will organise a Bengali food festival and a Pitha Utshob on the occasion of Pahela Baishakh at their hotel lobby. Food festival will be held at Amrit restaurant Level 2 from 13-20 April while Pitha Utshob will take place from 13-15 April. Bengali food festival will run for four hours from 6:30 pm to 10:30 pm and Pitha Utshob will run for nine hours from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm. There will be a special buffet dinner as well.
The food festival will be a treat for the food connoisseur who will be able to experience an authentic Bengali dishes. The festival is designed to bring in a feeling of celebrations. Guests can explore the authentic culinary delights of Bengal during the fest. There will be both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. The savoury items are Pantha bhat with Padma Elish Bhaja, Chingree Malai Curry, Rupchanda with Tomato Sauce, Pabda Fish Masala, Taqui Mach Bharta, Aloo Bharta, Begun Bharta, Shotki Bharta and many more.
However the guests will find a variety of mouth-watering Pithas like, Bhapa, Puli, Narkel Puli, Chitoi, Dudh Chitoi, Patishapta and many more during the Pitha Utshob. Everyone is invited to be a part of such grand celebration.
