 The much-hyped grand finale of the talent hunt contest, Robi Shera Protibha, ended with selecting best eight performers in the city on Monday.

Mobile phone operator Robi Axiata Ltd organised the event to find talented vocalists from across the country.

The best eight performers were Rajib Ahmed, Jannat Afrin Meghla and Rajibul Islam Imran of Dhaka, Smita De, Tahia Oishi Osmani and Bithi chowdhury of Sylhet, Sumi Rani Roy of Rangpur and Mithun Roy of Barisal.

The contest witnessed a hectic audition round launched from November 22 in Khulna.

A number of aspirants auditioned onground and through online across the country.

A total of 30 aspirants were selected for ‘Grooming Round’ through audition round across the country.

Of them, 12 participants were nominated for the grand finale.

The selected best eight performers of the show will get an opportunity to record their songs with Music composer Fuad in his next album.

Along with its regular juror singer and music director Fuad Al Muktadir Fuad, Bangladeshi exponent Hridoy Khan was also a member of the jury of the grand finale.

Nabila presented the show produced by Abul Hossain Khokan.
