Mashrafe sets for West Indies to join Bangladesh team

Bangladesh ODI skipper Mashrafe Bin Mortaza leaves for West Indies early Tuesday (1:40 am) to join the Bangladesh team in Jamaica to play the three-match ODI series beginning on Sunday (July 22) at Providence.   The Tigers will also play preparatory tour match against UWI Vice-Chancellors Eleven on Thursday (July 19) in Kingston.   Mashrafe is likely to join Bangladesh side in Jamaica on Wednesday after transit in Dubai, Italy and New York.   Bangladesh cricket team, now touring West Indies under the leadership of all-rounder ShakibAl Hasan, were whitewashed in the two-match Test series with an innings and 219 runs defeat in the first match making their over lowest Test total of 43 runs and conceding a 166-run defeat in the 2nd Test.
