US ambassador, BEPZA chief discuss labour standards

US Ambassador Christensen and Labour Attaché Leena Khan met with Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority (BEPZA) Executive Chairman Maj Gen Mohammad Moazzem Hossain to discuss strengthening the US-Bangladesh relationship through high labour standards.

In a Facebook post on Monday, the US Embassy in Dhaka said the discussion focused on high labour standards as a way to benefit workers and businesses while supporting long-term economic growth in both countries.
