Reto Renggli attended a breakfast meeting on Monday with UN Women Deputy
Executive Director Nyaradzayi Gumbonzvanda and Regional Director for Asia and
the Pacific Christine Arab, according to a Facebook post by the Embassy of
Switzerland in Bangladesh.
The envoy engaged in discussions with ambassadors and development partners on shared priorities and ongoing cooperation, the embassy said in its social media update.
He exchanged views on strengthening collaboration in gender equality, social inclusion and sustainable development, with a focus on practical initiatives in Bangladesh.

Switzerland maintains several partnerships with UN Women in Bangladesh, supporting programmes that promote inclusive elections, improve education and livelihoods for Rohingya girls and women, and advance gender-responsive approaches for the reintegration of migrant workers.
Participants at the meeting also reviewed ongoing development priorities and discussed ways to enhance coordination among diplomatic missions and UN agencies working in the country.
The embassy said the discussions reinforced shared commitments to inclusive development and stronger cooperation across key social sectors.
