Chinese Ambassador pays courtesy call on PM’s Defence Adviser

Prime Minister’s Defence Adviser Brigadier General AKM Shamsul Islam (Retd), PSC, G, held a courtesy meeting with Chinese Ambassador to Bangladesh Yao Wen.

The meeting took place on Tuesday at the Defence Adviser’s office under the Armed Forces Division at Dhaka Cantonment.

During the meeting, both sides exchanged greetings and discussed issues related to bilateral cooperation. 

They also focused on strengthening technical and military collaboration between Bangladesh and China.

Both sides expressed optimism about further deepening the existing defence ties and strategic partnership between the two countries.
