Holy Ashura on Dec 6
  The holy Ashura will be observed across the country on December 6 as the month of Muharram begins today.

This was decided at a meeting of the National Moon Sighting Committee held at Islamic Foundation Baitul Mukarram meeting room Saturday evening.

Kazi Habibul Awal chaired the meeting, which was attended by government officials and Islamic scholars.
