Actor Sohel Rana made Ershad’s election affairs adviser
 Dhaka: Jatiya Party (Ershad) on Friday appointed its presidium member and renowned film actor Masud Parvez Sohel Rana as adviser on election affairs to the party chairman HM Ershad.

Sohel Rana joined the Jatiya Party in the middle of last year and was then made a presidium member.

Sohel Rana has been given additional charge of chairman’s adviser, a party source confirmed UNB over phone.

Ershad has created some new posts and distributed those to some tested leaders.

Presidium Member Ziauddin Ahmed Bablu was earlier made Ershad’s political adviser and Kazi Firoz Rashid as the party spokesperson.
