The Africa Bangladesh Business Forum (ABBF) has announced that the Africa-Bangladesh Trade Show & Business Summit 2026 will be held on 6-7 October at the Abuja Continental Hotel in Nigeria, bringing together business leaders, investors, policymakers and entrepreneurs from Bangladesh, Nigeria and across Africa to strengthen trade and investment partnerships.

Organised by ABBF and presented by Kingmansa, the two-day international event will be held under the theme, "Connecting Markets. Creating Opportunities. Building Partnerships," said a press release.

The summit aims to create new business opportunities, facilitate cross-border investments and deepen economic cooperation between Bangladesh and African nations.

Nigeria, Africa's largest economy by population with more than 230 million people, represents a rapidly expanding market for Bangladeshi businesses. The summit will showcase opportunities in key sectors including garments and textiles, pharmaceuticals, agriculture, food processing, information technology, construction materials and consumer goods, while also introducing African businesses to Bangladesh's growing manufacturing and export capabilities.

The event will feature an international trade exhibition, high-level business summit, keynote addresses, pre-arranged B2B meetings, investment forums, government and institutional engagement sessions, a startup showcase, Business Excellence Awards and extensive networking opportunities. Thousands of participants, including trade delegations, exhibitors, investors, chamber representatives, policymakers and corporate executives, are expected to attend.

"This summit is designed to create meaningful and practical business connections between Africa and Bangladesh," said Zahirul Haq, founder and president of ABBF. "By bringing businesses and institutions together in Abuja, we aim to unlock long-term trade, investment and strategic partnership opportunities that will benefit both regions."

ABBF has invited exhibitors, business delegates, sponsors, speakers, startups and institutional partners to participate in the event. Organisers have encouraged interested organisations to confirm their participation by 7 August 7, noting that exhibition booths and delegate registrations are available on a limited basis.

Registration and event details are available at nigeria.africabangladesh.com.
