Banglalink brings mobile services to ChatGPT

Banglalink has integrated its mobile services into ChatGPT, allowing subscribers to check balances, monitor usage and find suitable mobile packs through conversational AI.
The service, called Banglalink GPT, is available nationwide and is the first such integration by a telecom operator in Bangladesh, according to a press release.
Developed by Banglalink Digital, the platform allows users to check their balance, minutes, internet data and roaming status, as well as explore mobile packs, without switching between apps or websites.
Subscribers can access the assistant through ChatGPT’s GPT section and interact with it using everyday language. It also recommends packs based on users’ needs and usage patterns, while transactions requiring payment can be completed through the company’s payment portal.
Taimur Rahman, chief corporate and regulatory affairs officer of the telecom operator, said the integration would make it easier for customers to access and manage mobile services through a familiar conversational interface.
He said the initiative reflected the company’s commitment to making digital services more intuitive, accessible and customer-focused as AI becomes increasingly integrated into everyday life.
The service is part of the operator’s broader efforts to simplify access to mobile services through technology.
