PepsiCo, MetLife join hands for employee insurance

PepsiCo Bangladesh has partnered with MetLife Bangladesh to provide insurance coverage for its employees and dependants.
The coverage includes accidents, disability and loss of life, along with in-patient, out-patient and maternity benefits, according to a press release.
Pranav Mehta, managing director of PepsiCo Bangladesh Private Limited, and Mohammad Kamruzzaman, assistant managing director and chief corporate business officer of MetLife Bangladesh, signed the agreement.
The partnership adds to the insurer’s corporate insurance business, while providing PepsiCo employees and their dependants with health and life-related coverage.
MetLife settled Tk2,853 crore in claims in 2025 and Tk1,384 crore in the first six months of 2026, according to the company.
