No info yet on Bangladeshi fatality in Nepal floods: Ambassador
The death toll from the devastating floods has climbed to 162

Bangladesh’s Ambassador to Nepal Md Shafiqur Rahman said on Thursday that the Embassy has not received any information regarding the death of any Bangladeshi national from the floods and landslides in the Himalayan country.
“We are inquiring about the issue,” the ambassador
said.
The death toll from the devastating floods has
climbed to 162, with hundreds more still missing, including foreign nationals.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has
expressed sorrow over the incident.
The government has also expressed sympathy to the
family members of the deceased and wished speedy recovery of the missing people
and treatment of the injured.
The government has also expressed its preparedness
to assist Nepal in any way in rescue and relief efforts.
