Govt announces reward for info on oil hoarding, forms vigilance teams

The government on Friday announced rewards for anyone passing information to authorities on illegal mineral oil hoarding and price manipulation by vested groups operating across the country.

Dedicated vigilance teams, under the supervision of district authorities, have also been launched to check and identify hoarding and price manipulation attempts, read a message issued by the Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources on Friday.
