10 Minute School to revamp the way of learning

We have to admit that we all wanted to see some changes in our education system and finally there seems to be a revolution coming.
With a view to solving the education problem of the eighth largest population of the world (more than 160 millions), the idea of ‘10 Minute School’ came into being in 2013 to provide educational services `free of costs’ and in an amusing and creative way.
With the tagline “Learn- Practice- Progress,”10 Minute School (www.10minuteschool.com) is the new online school that believes education should be free and accessible to all.
Website of the `10 Minute School’ is actually a brain child of the student entrepreneur Ayman Sadiq, a final year student of the Institute of Business Administration (IBA). The website, however, was finally launched on May 17 of 2015.
Although planning of the entire project started way back in November of 2013, the team started forming in April, 2014 after two failed attempts.
Within just two weeks of launching the website, it had earned a tremendous response from all over the world. As because now more than 1,500 users have subscribed as learners and many more thousand have already started taking courses here, the number keeps on increasing every single day.
From this website students can learn from the tutorials, practice from the given tests, monitor their progress, compare with their peers and others, get every single information needed which otherwise is not available in the internet.
At present anyone can give quizzes based on SSC syllabus, HSC syllabus, different admission tests including IBA, medical, engineering, public university units, MBA, BCS exams, bank job recruitments, SAT, GRE, GMAT and IELTS. Video courses are being developed and will be available very soon. There are numerous infographics that cover admission information of different universities, patterns and preparation guidelines of standardised tests and a lot more.
Many students are often lost before admission tests as they do not have accurate and adequate information. The infographics section of 10 Minute School can be of great help to those students. The E-book section also features some captivating contents. Specially the `Maths 101’ and `English 101’ are great hits among students for brushing up their math and English basics in less than 10 minutes.
The e-books are available in both Bengali and English.
This crazy and diverse ‘10 Minute School’ team consists of bright young minds from different universities of the country. Some of the young creative minds from IBA, BUET, DU, NSU and BUP worked together to make this possible.
The project is like an open canvas where team members contribute their own crazy ideas and every single idea is given a try. 10 Minute School is an open platform where anyone and
everyone can contribute. The team is ready to be expanded in order to make room for more creative minds from different universities.
Anyone interested to contribute can give a shout-out in their   page (https://www.facebook.com/10minuteschool).
‘10 Minute School’ is going to adopt a cross platform marketing approach by inviting students from all the schools, colleges and universities in the country to come together and create a real change in the education industry of our country. 10 Minute School believes in a CHANGE.
Do you think it sounds kind of a utopia? Well, you just need to see for yourself to believe it. Have 10 minutes of spare time? Instead of scrolling down your Facebook news feed aimlessly, visit the ‘10 Minute School’ website and facebook page and learn, practice, progress!
