Teenage girl rescued from Jashore brothel

Police rescued a teenage girl from a brothel in Jashore on Sunday night.

The girl mother said that on August 18, the accused took her 14-year-old daughter from the house and took her away. The accused Golam Mustafa, his wife Rima Khatun, son Sohag of Barandipara of the town and Billal Hossain, son of Mander Hossain of the same area sold her daughter to the Jashore town brothel.

Jarna Khatun, a leader of sex workers of the brothel to earn money by molesting her by doing immoral acts with different people. Since 18 August, the girl has no trace.

The teenager mother complained to the Jashore Kotwali Model Police Station on Sunday for taking legal action.

Based on the complaint, the Sadar Outpost Police rescued her from the house of the brothel on Sunday night.

The victim said that some youths who had been victimising and forced her to do immoral acts.

Sadar Outpost Officer-in-Charge Firoz Uddin said that the girl was rescued from the brothel on the basis of the complaint. The girl was given the custody of her mother on Monday morning. The action will be taken after investigating the matter OC added.

A case was filed against the kidnapping gang with Jashore Kotwali Police Station.
