Coast Guard ship ‘Tajuddin’ has returned to Chittagong port on Monday after a goodwill visit to India.

The ship left Bangladesh on May 22. During that visit, it stayed in Chennai and Visakhapatam port of India.

Training of Coast Guard personnel (to conduct rescue operations in the sea, to prevent environmental pollution), promoting mutual relations as well as important issues including joint exercises were given priority during the visit.

In the light of a MoU signed between Bangladesh and India in 2015, Coast Guard ships of both countries have been on a goodwill tour in two countries.
