17 universities sign deal with UGC

A total of 17 universities signed agreement with University Grants Commission (UGC) of Bangladesh under round-4, window-1 to implement 38 sub-projects for improvement of teaching and learning of the universities.


Higher Education Quality Enhancement Project (HEQ-EP) of UGC has allocated Tk 57.62 crore against the sub-projects, says a press release.  The agreement signing ceremony was held at UGC auditorium in the capital on Sunday.

Prof Abdul Mannan, Chairman of UGC, was present at the ceremony as the chief guest while Prof Dr Mohammad Yousuf Ali Mollah, Member of UGC, chaired the function.

Prof Dr Dil Afroza Begum and Prof Dr Md Akhtar Hossain, Members of UGC, were present as the spcial guests where Dr Gauranga Chandra Mohanta, Project Director (Additional Secretary), HEQEP, delivered the address of welcome.  

Dr Md Khaled, Seretary of UGC, signed the agreement on behalf of UGC.
